I’m so excited to share this incredible wedding with you! It was amazing from beginning to end and such a treat to photograph. Kathryn and Peter are such a lovely couple and every detail of their sophisticated soirée exemplified grace, elegance and an homage to the classical.
Kathryn prepared for her wedding day in the Kennedy Suite at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel where notable photographs of the Kennedy family adorned the walls, as large windows and a beautiful chandelier provided gorgeous light. Sweet Peas made for a lovely bouquet complimenting Kathryn’s ivory lace gown.
The ceremony was at the Lindsey Chapel at the Emmanuel Church on Newbury Street in Boston, featuring gothic revival architecture with beautiful stained glass windows. The ceremony was followed by a short walk to the Boston Public Garden where they gathered with family and friends beneath the willow trees.
Throughout the day, guests were treated to classically trained musicians playing Mozart, culminating with Peter’s nephew, a true violin prodigy, playing Edouard Lalo’s Symphonie Espangnole.
